A downloadable game

WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE? (well, the first version of an accessible role playing game in need of playtesting is what we have here)

In AI HAVE FEELINGS? a bunch of robots (you!) get sentimental on the journey of a battery time. This is a roleplaying game guided by prompt cards and a twist with feeling: your reaction to the prompt is an emotional one decided by the outcome of the roll of a die. The goal is (what else?) to tell stories together.

Unearth a hidden robot rebellion, rescue the remains of humanity, hunt for a mystical MacGuffin or simply buy a fancy new pair of socks - always do it with feeling in AI HAVE FEELINGS?.

HOW THE GAME PLAYS

You are robots. You take turns answering to the story deck (a combination of a broad prompt deck and a script deck, which helps to tell a specific story during a playing session). Before reacting to it, you roll a die which decides the kind of emotion you should use (you each have two). Using these emotions, each of the players contribute to a larger story.


WHAT'S IN THE BOX (there is no box, yet)

You can download everything you need to print out and test the first prototype of AI HAVE FEELINGS? right now:

  • The user guide: version zero
  • 32 prompt cards
  • 10 script cards: the first scenario called A_01
  • 6 positive feeling cards
  • 6 negative feeling cards
  • 6 character boards

Grab some dice, boot up your imagination and you're ready to go.

WORK IN PROGRESS

This is the first (printer friendly, don't worry) version of AI HAVE FEELINGS? and it is in need of playtesting and feedback. I am very curious to know what works and doesn't down below in the comments.
